Looking for people to help promote KLOCKWERQ over the next couple of nights.

I'm looking for someone to hand out flyers in Central Square, Cambridge from roughly 7pm to 9pm on this Wednesday through Saturday (9/15 through 9/18). Ideally, it'd be the same person every night.

You'd stand on the corner of Mass Ave and Brookline streets (near The Middle East) and promote KLOCKWERQ (our steampunk event that's going on at T.T. the Bear's on Sunday night) -- wearing steampunk clothing would be great.

Yes, I can pay you. Yes, I can comp you into KLOCKWERQ. If you're interested, let me know how many nights you want to do and which ones they are.

This is somewhat off topic, and isn't meant as a criticism, it's just something I've always wondered--what's the return on investment on handing out flyers like? Costs seem quite low, but does it generate a significant crowd in return?

It's not actually the flyers. Having postcards in big piles in various places is done because, well, it's better than nothing.

Having someone hand out flyers who is articulate and can engage the passerby who wants more information is worthwhile, IMHO.
