PBS has an online poll posted asking if Sarah Palin is qualified. Apparently the right wing knew about this in advance and are flooding the voting with YES votes.

The poll will be reported on PBS and picked up by mainstream media. It can influence undecided voters in swing states.  Please do two things -- this takes 20 seconds.

1) Click on link and vote yourself.

2) Then send this to every single Obama-Biden voter you know, and urge them to vote and pass it on.

As John Stewart said "Republicans have been feminists for only a month."

I voted, but I think this is worth reading as well.

In some sense, this poll really is about which side is more connected online than about who thinks she's qualified.

Interesting article. It is also, however, very easy to delete all ones cookies and go vote again, and again...

It's 49% to 49% now. (I did vote. No.)

It was 49/49 when I voted last night. I begin to wonder if this is an actual poll.

I don't mind at all. That's sort of the point ;-)

The Republican party platform actually supported the Equal Rights Amendment until 1980.

The poll's about a month old, and no longer in active rotation on the PBS site:

I thought it was interesting how the author was saying that he views shifts in the poll as shifts in partisan mobilization, not actual shifts in opinion.
