About a month ago I locked down this journal and made it friends only for a variety of reasons.

In November 2005, I convinced two friends (learnedax and pax_industria) to go down to Mississippi and New Orleans with me to help with the disaster relief efforts after Hurricane Katrina. I just unlocked those posts; they're tagged as "Waveland" (Waveland was the unfortunately named town in Mississippi where we were based most of the time we were down there). I might, but I think LJ has a nifty built-in function that allows a reader (like you) to view all posts tagged with a given subject.

Yeah, I know you can search by tags, but if you think something is important enough to write, and important enough to not only read, but RE-read, it's lovely to make it easy to do so.

Just sayin'.

And J checked weights to send stuff back per your suggestion. 100 pound cap. Unless I sell every original I'm bringing, it's ain't gonna happen;)

The crate is wood & built specifically to house the paintings.

It'll be about $200 less expensive on the way home, cuz it can take it's time.

The other reason you haven't seen much lately is I haven't been posting very much. You're added... (I am reminded how much I wish LJ used some term other than 'friend.)
